JCA is one of the few facilities in London pioneering the use of the Pandora Yo-Yo digital grading system. JCA has extensively used this system for grading and conforming including work in feature film restoration.

The Yo-Yo equipped Pandora Revolution allows for real time rendering of HD and 2K back to data ready for use further on in the DI pipeline ior ready to copy onto hard drives for film out or data archive. This system represents fusion of the creativity and flexibility and data grading abilities of software based systems and the real time rendering capabilities of hardware based systems. This is coupled with the Revolution's normal ability to grade from tape to tape and playout of data to all tape formats including HDCAM-SR 444.

Whatever your grading needs, our workflow provides fast and high quality results every time whether it be a standard definition grade or a 2K DI. Our service also extends to supporting processes for grading and manipulation of RED camera produced footage and rushes.

Dustbusting

Unwanted dirt and scratches on film can be a major issue for any production. We provide a non-destructive, non-linear dustbusting solution that delivers spotless digital images.

HD & SD Deliverables

We can manage and conform raw HD data from a live shoot and produce a complete set of HD and SD deliverables and record HD data to film within our DI workflow.

Data Archive Solutions

Complete backups of digital master files are archived on disk or data tape at 4K or 2K resolution. Drives and tapes are held in secure storage and can be accessed efficiently and repurposed for any future applications.
